Jerry Jensen was a master custom wheel maker. He had a one man shop and was a skilled craftsman. Jerry passed away in 2022. Jerry custom made this 24” diameter wheel for me from Black Walnut.

You have to understand Jerry to appreciate his wheels. He would test the components, especially the drive wheel, if it wasn’t perfect it became firewood. This wheel is quiet, balanced and EASY to use.

This Black Walnut, Flyer on the right* spinning wheel is a treasure. Jerry told me how much to charge if I sold it after he had passed on, and I am following his advice.

The Wheel is $4,000 and comes with

• 6 bobbins
• 3 whorls (High Speed, Medium and Slow)
• Scotch tension pin, string and spring, with an extra walnut pin.
• A set of extra treadle leathers.
• a finished distaff (never used)

Flyer on the right is for spinners who hold their fiber in the left hand and have their right hand closer to the flyer orifice.

NOTE:  I have no way of turning OFF shipping for this item.  I have, therefore not filled in weight and it appears to ship for free.  I cannot ship it by myself.  If you want me to take it to UPS for packing and shipping at your expense, then I'm ok with that.
